Thanks for your comment, Mehmet! You make a great point. We absolutely have the "experience of control" in our lives. For example, if you have an inspiration or a goal to accomplish something in your life, you have the "experience of control" in that you envision what you want, and start taking steps to achieve it. One could look at this as having control in life – I like to look at it as an "experience of control."
The way I see it, when I am Inspired by spirit, a higher power, god, whatever you want to call it, to create a certain result in life, I don't feel I have any control over when or what I was inspired or nudged to do. However, I do have the "experience of control" in that I take that amazing inspiration and start taking inspired actions to achieving what I'm inspired to achieve. However, the results may not turn out exactly how I expect, which makes me realize I have no ultimately control over the results.
Another way to look at this is with something my partner iKE Ike Allen and I like to call The Power of And. We all may have the experience of control in our lives at any given moment, AND, we have no control. I like to focus my Awareness on this, especially when I'm having the "experience of being in control" to remind mySELF that in the grand scheme of things I have no control.

Very often, I hear that letting go of the past and the future and just focusing on the now is the gateway to peace. And yes, I have found peace there. But I wonder, what if NOW is painful? What if NOW is filled with sickness, rejection, depression, loneliness, and pain? Can it be ok to leave now and focus on hope for the future? Or regain peace by remembering moments from the past? Is NOW always the best place to live?
